We share video content to inform, empower and inspire you to make decisions about how you can address climate change and move forward.
The Screening Room is a film and discussion platform designed to engage audiences with one of the defining challenges of our time: climate change — and, importantly, what we can do about it.
Through documentary films, short-form programming and conversations with leading experts, The Screening Room brings climate science, innovation, environmental restoration and human experience to audiences around the world.
Here are our three current major climate film projects. We make them available free-of charge to inform, empower and inspire you (but donations are very welcome to recoup our major costs!).
Our aim is not simply to raise awareness, but to encourage understanding, participation and action.

This leads to the ultimate question: 'How do I convert my interest and concern into agency and action?'
We will help you do that!

1. THE CLIMATE RESTORERS
GLOBALLY RELEASED (2025)
The Climate Restorers is a series of four 50-minute documentary films launched on Earth Day, 2025 and broadcasting in North America, Australia, parts of Asia and soon, Europe.
The first three explore the evolving technologies of carbon removal from the atmosphere - methane oxidation, blue carbon technologies, and the built environment.
The final film looks at Nature - how it protects and restores ecosystems and soil to support exquisite biodiversity, the whole of human civilization, and the carbon cycle. Nature draws down virtually all of the carbon from the atmosphere. So far, it remains the only effective, and by far the least expensive, game in town for carbon removal at scale and at speed. And this underpins the basis for new repair-focused societies and economies.

Methane: the most potent, risky, and short-lived greenhouse gas offers the best short-term solution for slowing down a heating climate. We travel between the melting permafrost, lakes and tunnels of Alaska to universities and shipping companies across Europe to see what is being done to remove and reduce methane.

The Built Environment: The construction industry accounts for around 38% of global emissions. But what if buildings could be a big part of the solution, and not just the problem? We look at carbon-negative and -neutral buildings and settlements, creating climate solutions and a better, healthier quality of life.

Blue Carbon describes the carbon captured and moved by oceans and coastal ecosystems. We look at seaweed permaculture and management, ocean iron fertilization, livelihoods and ocean and coastal restoration. We survey people, projects and practices from the North and Salish Seas to the tropical Caribbean and Philippines. Ocean restoration is key to stabilizing our planet and climate.

Ecosystem Restoration: While films 1-3 describe Nature as the inspiration for technologies to accelerate climate solutions, Nature itself is still the only large-scale solution for climate restoration. This episode is a sweeping journey from the small scale of the soils under our feet to the global scale of ecosystem restoration and regenerative farming.
